I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 29A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Niamh Smyth - to address concerns of residents regarding the new N2 route in County Monaghan; (2) Deputy Catherine Murphy - to discuss the special permission required for medical professionals when moving into self-employment as general practitioners; (3) Deputy Seán Haughey - to discuss recent gangland shootings in north Dublin and the need for additional Garda resources in the Dublin metropolitan region northern division; (4) Deputy Kathleen Funchion - to discuss the cancellation of Circuit Court and High Court sessions in Kilkenny in November; (5) Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív - to discuss the need for additional funding for improvement works on accident black spots; (6) Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin - to discuss the lack of second level school places in Newbridge and Kildare town, County Kildare; (7) Deputy Brendan Smith - to discuss funding for St. Aidan’s Comprehensive School, Cootehill, County Cavan; (8) Deputy Robert Troy - to discuss the timeframe for delivery of a MRI scanner for Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar; and (9) Deputy Stephen Donnelly - to discuss the imminent closure of St. Joseph’s dementia care home in Shankill, County Dublin.

The matters raised by Deputies Brendan Smith, Catherine Murphy, Seán Haughey and Niamh Smyth have been selected for discussion.
