I acknowledge the point Deputy Michael Healy-Rae makes about the challenge that this poses for the beef sector in particular and, as I said, we are far from a situation where we are approving or rejecting a deal. We are not at that stage. Deputy Healy-Rae knows, from his wide experience in life, that there is a big difference, for example, between making a decision to purchase a property and the contract one ultimately signs. Terms and conditions apply. We need to use our influence to shape the terms and conditions that apply to this deal in order to benefit our farmers. That is my function as long as I am in this position and I would also see it as my function to work collaboratively if I was sitting in Deputy Healy-Rae's position.
