Before I call Deputy Buckley, I wish on my own behalf and on behalf of the Members of Dáil Éireann to offer a céad míle fáilte, a hundred thousand welcomes, and a most sincere welcome to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon, His Excellency Mr. Gebran Bassil, who is on a visit to Ireland to discuss issues of common concern. The Minister is most welcome to Dáil Éireann, as are his colleagues. Ireland and Lebanon have long held close connections and I hope his visit with us proves useful and to our mutual benefit.
