The Taoiseach has conceded that the process may well be compromised. He will ask Mr. Peter Smyth to carry out a review. Given that the Minister had repeated dining engagements with Mr. McCourt, there is no doubt that the process has been compromised. It is now simply a question of degree. Of course, due process will be observed and the review will be carried out. However, the terrible vista under the Taoiseach's watch is that his Minister's relationship with the sole remaining bidder might have compromised the entire exercise and set the clock back to zero. That is profoundly shocking.

The Taoiseach mentioned that the Minister of State, Deputy Breen, was also party to these arrangements. Can the Taoiseach confirm that he is still a Minister of State?
