I raise the issue of the Public Service Superannuation (Age of Retirement) Bill which aims to allow public servants work beyond the age of 65. This issue is the cause of much concern and has been raised with me by several constituents, many of whom are approaching the age of 65 and would like the opportunity to continue working. The Bill is currently before the Seanad but I am very keen for it to come before the Dáil as soon as possible. Is there any update in that regard?
