I do not know who give the Taoiseach his figures. I am not saying it is his fault but there is so much spin in there that it is not funny. The housing supply co-ordination task force, which checks out completions in the four Dublin local authorities for ten units or more, gave a total number of 1,095 for the first two quarters of 2017. For the first two quarters of 2018 the number is 397. Those are hundreds and not thousands - 397. In 2017, 394 local authority houses built in the whole country. Approved housing bodies built 270. That is 664. The Taoiseach is telling me that the figures for Dublin for the first two quarters of this year are private and social. He telling me that there will be 20,000 new houses built this year. That will not happen. There is not a prayer in Hell of that happening. It is not possible. It will not even get close to it.
