In chapter 6.2 of the National Development Plan 2018-2027 it is stated that the work of the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service network in building analytical capacity across the Civil Service through specialist recruitment and learning and development will also play an important role in enhancing the evidence base for decision making.
