To ask the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence the contingency plans in place to reopen Army barracks that were closed along the Border; his plans to reverse the decline in the Defence Forces to mitigate against increased smuggling activity; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that only two Army barracks remain near the border, at Bundoran and Dundalk; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
