I thank the Minister for his response. That is a fair point about the multiple providers and tax equality for them and the difficulty in achieving that if we were to select some and not others.

I will address the Minister with his Public Expenditure and Reform hat on rather than his Finance hat. The commuter parking services are so popular that they are in scarce supply. The National Transport Authority, NTA, would be very grateful, as would the commuters of Kildare North and of the wider commuter belt of any support that could be given towards the provision of additional parking services in those areas. I will finish on that point and thank the Minister for his response.
