The content of what he is saying should alarm the Taoiseach even more because what is at the heart of this is a terrible vista: that an appalling set of actions were afoot to undermine this man's credibility and character. It is simply not good enough to say a Minister in charge of a portfolio relating to the most explosive issue to have hit the Dáil in the past three years merely stands by and allows the adversarial nature of the legal strategy to continue to undermine this man's credibility yet again.
