The programme for Government contains a commitment to reopen six Garda stations on a pilot scheme basis. Recently, it was mooted that Rush Garda station would be one of those. The Minister's colleagues in Fine Gael and his very best friends in Fianna Fáil were tweeting about it, but we are, in truth, no wiser as to what Garda stations will be reopened other than the station in Stepaside. We all know that Stepaside Garda station will be reopened. When will people throughout the country know what other Garda stations will be reopened? Can the Minister give us an assurance that equity and equality will be applied to that in terms of a rural-urban split and a geographic spread?
