I thank Deputy Carey for raising this important issue. I know the impact of commercial rates on many towns and villages is very severe. It is creating huge difficulties for businesses, particularly in main streets. The heads of that Bill were cleared by Cabinet in April and it is currently being drafted. We hope it will be published by the end of this calendar year.
