The Minister will know that on several occasions I have attempted to get a costing on returning the public service to a single tier pay structure. He will also know it is an issue I have raised with him several time. I wish all sides well in the current pay talks, and it is one of the issues I would imagine has been raised, but has the Minister's Department made any progress on costing a return to a single tier pay structure?
