In February, the European Commission initiated court proceedings against the Irish Government for breaches of the urban waste water treatment directive. Infringement proceedings have been ongoing since 2012. I am looking for an update from the Minister of State on the progress on the 38 agglomerations or urban areas that are currently in breach of EU law and what the Government will do to rectify these. How much will be invested year on year from now until 2021 to bring these 38 agglomerations up to standard?
