There was no interest and no sale in 2006. In 2009, it appeared that there would be a sale but it failed to be finalised. So the holiday village has been for sale since. I understand there has been some pretty intensive and active engagement but it has not gone the full way yet. In fairness to Coillte, I would not ask for, nor would not expect it to tell me, the details of the levels of bids. The holiday village complex is, however, expected to realise a reasonable amount of money, which would be used to develop part of the overall national forest park strategy. Coillte had planned to launch the national forest recreation policy very shortly but it has had to be deferred to another date. This is a new development Coillte will be rolling out.
