My question is on promised legislation. The previous Government, led by the Taoiseach, closed many Garda stations around the country. People are suffering because of that. Many homes in Glenflesk and other rural parts of Kerry were plundered and had valuable items taken from them in recent times. There is hardly any Garda presence in the entire Kenmare Estuary to defend communities against criminals coming on-shore along the southern side Kenmare River.
