On the programme for Government commitment to support family farms, the tillage forum is meeting today but I ask the Taoiseach specifically about the need for emergency funding for farmers who have lost crops this autumn. Does the Government intend to come forward with a package to support them in the very near future as there is a crisis on many farms, particularly those on the west coast? The Taoiseach will be aware of that in terms of his own county.
