To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government if he will introduce a requirement that his Department undertake an annual audit of construction costs as recommended by the housing and homelessness committee; his views that the current system of building control is appropriate and provides for safe and cost-effective oversight of building during design and construction.
