To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to address the issue of cars which have been written off in other jurisdictions being brought here, given the grave safety concerns for road users, especially with the lengthy delay in bringing forward legislation to deal with this matter; the measures he intends to take to deal with this problem; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
