I move amendment No. 3:

(a) To delete the following after “appointed by the Government”:“— 99 citizens entitled to vote at a referendum, randomly selected so as to be broadly representative of Irish society;”and replace with:“— 99 persons, including those whose names appear on the electoral register for local elections, to be randomly selected making no distinction to nationality or citizenship status and, on the issue of Repeal of the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution, the majority of whom shall be women between the ages of 18 and 50;” and(b) To delete, after the words “event not later than”, the words “one year” and to substitute the words “three months” in their place.”
