I move amendment No. 17:

In page 25, between lines 13 and 14, to insert the following:" 'relevant adopting parent' means, in relation to a child who is, or is to be, adopted—

(a) where the child is, or is to be, adopted jointly by a married couple of the same sex, the spouse of the relevant parent in relation to that child,

(b) the adopting mother of the child, or

(c) the sole male adopter of the child;".
