I move amendment No. 2 to Seanad amendment No. 47:

To insert the following subsection before subsection (1):“(1) Section 19 of the Principal Act is amended in subsection (1), by inserting the following after “at that time.”:

“Market rent is defined as the average price per square metre of a property with equivalent fittings and finish in the same municipal district or local electoral area, as applicable. The average price per square metre shall be calculated using the data gathered and published in accordance with section 151(1)(bc) (as amended by section 37of theResidential Tenancies (Amendment) Act 2015).”.”.
