We have created over 130,000 jobs since 2012. We have the highest level of economic growth in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, OECD. Our economy is now larger than it was at the pre-crisis peak. By any standards, we have witnessed in the past four and a half years a remarkable turnaround, a tribute to the resilience of the Irish people.

Fairness

I want to deal with one issue that generates considerable debate. It has become popular among some to say that under this Government, inequality has risen. That is simply not true.
