Seanad amendment No. 56:Section 21: In page 25, between lines 3 and 4, to insert the following: “Amendment to section 60 of Principal Act 21. The Principal Act is amended by the substitution of the following section for section 60: “Non-admissibility of certain evidence 60. A statement or admission made by a person to a panel in relation to a complaint brought under Part 5 shall not be admissible as evidence in proceedings brought against the person for an offence (other than an offence under section 43B).”.”.
