To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government in relation to a letter sent from a multinational company to his Department in February 2012 regarding proposals to install water meters, as released to this Deputy under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 (details supplied), if he will indicate the context and assumptions under which the company made its key proposals; if it was assumed at the time that the soon to be established water utility would be made available for sale eventually, either in part or entirely; the initial contact the letter was responding to; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
