Aer Lingus pensioners are not going to see anything from this deal. They will receive no comfort or recognition or reward from the deal. There is an irony in one of the commitments in the deal. I feel genuinely sorry for Deputies Michael McNamara and Michael Conaghy and the other six amigos.
