I want an update on two promised Bills, the Health Act 2007 (amendment) Bill, which is to extend HIQAs remit in a number of areas, including the setting and monitoring of standards of private and independent health care providers. The second is the patient safety (licensing) Bill, to provide for the mandatory system of licensing for public and private health care facilities.
