To ask the Taoiseach the actions the European Union Commission is taking to promote and harness the full benefits of fifth freedom, discussed at the March European Union Council meeting, where it was decided to act quickly and decisively; the specific actions being taken because of the instability in the European Union’s neighbourhood, and the realities of climate change; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
