With regard to promised legislation, the Taoiseach may remember an issue that I raised with him on a couple of occasions - that is, the Criminal Justice (Spent Convictions) Bill 2012. I am interested to know the current status of that. Like many Members, I know a small number of persons who committed minor offences a long time ago, and that can have a significant impact on their lives in terms of travelling abroad, for instance, which can prevent them from meeting their families. It is an important piece of legislation that will affect the lives of so many.
