Financial Resolutions 2015 - Financial Resolution No. 3: General (Resumed)

The Government had already cut child benefit by between €10 and €47 per child each month, as well as cutting the annual back-to-school clothing and footwear allowance for poor families by €100. Meanwhile the cost of living and education costs have pushed more families into debt. Maternity benefit was cut by €32 per week, while the lone parent income disregard was cut from €146.50 to €90, with the consequence that working mothers are down by €28 per week. Perhaps they do not count.
