In the dying days of the previous Fianna Fáil Administration, it was clear that Deputy Martin’s party had lost touch with the people and the public mood. It was no longer able to hear what the people were saying. The current Government is worse because it has heard the voice of the people, yet it is carrying on regardless. Let me spell it out for the Taoiseach: the people are saying that the Government needs to scrap water charges and that it needs to scrap them now.
