I move amendment No. 16c:

In page 9, line 10, to delete “, loans, or both,”.

These amendments are technical changes that remove the reference to loans in the Bill. I do not believe that their removal will impact negatively on the Minister's powers to regulate for forestry. Amendment No. 68aempowers the Minister to make regulations governing the operation of the Department's grant scheme for forestry. This will enable the Minister to give a statutory basis to forest grant schemes.
