My question follows media reports on the Bar Council's annual conference. Mr. Remy Farrell, senior counsel, heavily criticised the lack of resources given to the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation and the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement. He expressed the view that there was never a better time for white collar criminals to get away with it. These were serious comments. Mr. Farrell is one of the most eminent practitioners in tackling this area and seen as a leading expert. His comments, therefore, were alarming. What is the Minister's response?
