Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Clare Daly - the implications for students following the closure of All Hallows College Dublin; (2) Deputy Seán Crowe - the problems in accessing and entering the polling station in the Holy Rosary School, Ballycragh, Tallaght, County Dublin; (3) Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív - an tuarascáil a foilsíodh maidir leis an seirbhís PSO go na hOileáin Árann, the report published on the PSO service to the Aran Islands; (4) Deputy Dessie Ellis - the crisis in mental health care and rising suicide rates; (5) Deputy David Stanton - the savings in energy costs across the health system by converting to combined heat and power (CHP) plants; (6) Deputy Mick Wallace - the ongoing crisis in Libya; and (7) Deputy Colm Keaveney - patient safety at the psychiatric unit at University Hospital Galway.

The matters raised by Deputies David Stanton, Colm Keaveney and Mick Wallace and have been selected for discussion.
