I will respond, if the Deputy is interested in a resolution of these issues. Why are we interested in a resolution of these issues and why ought they to be important to Fianna Fáil and the Opposition, as well as to the Government? It is because they go to the heart of the matter in respect of the security of the State and individuals in the State, which is looked after by An Garda Síochána. Second, in a modern democracy, the Garda Síochána or policing authority must be overseen by an appropriate oversight commission.
