It is proposed to take No. 11a, motion regarding committee membership; and No. 23, statements on the current situation in Northern Ireland. It is proposed, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, that (1) No. 11a shall be decided without debate; (2) No. 23 shall be taken on the conclusion of the Order of Business and the proceedings thereon shall, if not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion at 7.30 p.m. tonight and the following arrangements shall apply: (i) the opening statements of the Taoiseach, Tánaiste and leaders of Fianna Fáil, Sinn Féin and the Technical Group, who shall be called upon in that order, shall not exceed 15 minutes in each case, and such Members may share their time; (ii) the statements of a Minister or Minister of State and of the main spokespersons for Fianna Fáil, Sinn Féin and the Technical Group, who shall be called upon in that order, shall not exceed ten minutes in each case, and such Members may share their time; (iii) the statement of each other Member called upon shall not exceed ten minutes in each case and such Members may share their time; (iv) a Minister or Minister of State shall be called upon to make a statement in reply that shall not exceed ten minutes; and (3) Topical Issues shall take place on the conclusion of the opening statements of No. 23. Private Members' business shall be No. 45, Companies (Amendment) Bill 2014, Second Stage (resumed), to conclude at 9 p.m. tonight, if not previously concluded. Tomorrow’s business after oral questions shall be No. 2, County Enterprise Boards (Dissolution) Bill 2013 [Seanad] - Second Stage.
