I would like to raise two matters with the Taoiseach, the first of which relates to the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 and sections 10 and 12 of a further Act that was passed in 1993.

Under that legislation, will the Taoiseach deal with the comments of Judge Reynolds on the special investigations unit and the person who supervises that unit? When she appeared in court during the week she requested that the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine should take on board her comments and investigate the activities of that unit given the type of evidence given in that court case.
