There is a difference between buy-to-let and the principal family home. I can assure Deputy Martin that I do not speak here as an advocate for the banks. We have had much legal engagement to put in place a whole range of options of solutions for everyone in mortgage distress. The Central Bank Governor confirmed during the week that on 30 June there were 770,610 private residential mortgage accounts. Out of that, 97,874, 12.7%, were in arrears of greater than 90 days. It is not good enough that the banks have not stepped up to the mark in the way we wanted them to.
