I move amendment No. 134:
In page 14, line 29, to delete “objection.” and substitute the following:“objection, provided that--(a) his or her refusal to participate in the carrying out of such a medical procedure does not cause an immediate risk to the life of the woman, and
(b) in the case of a medical practitioner, he or she shall forthwith--(i) provide all relevant information to the woman about her right to such medical treatment, and
(ii) refer or transfer the woman to the care of another medical practitioner where such a medical practitioner is competent and readily available to participate in the carrying out of such a medical procedure.”.
