I wish formally to announce, for the information of the Dáil, that the Government, on my nomination, has appointed Deputy Tom Hayes to be Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine with special responsibility for forestry, horticulture, the greyhound industry and food safety with effect from 5 June 2013.
