To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if the proposed National Museum and Library Advisory Council will have any specific remit to develop the existing genealogical resources which exist across cultural institutions under its authority and beyond into a shared, centralised genealogical facility which may enable citizens and tourists to access all such available resources; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
