That is the fact of the matter. In the Minister's attempt to avoid being held to account, he is ramming this Bill through the Houses before the Christmas recess. That is a desperate action by a desperate Government in order that TDs can go back to their constituencies without feeling heat on this issue over the Christmas. It is a done deal before the Minister leaves the Chamber and that is shameful. We will be opposing this Bill every step of the way.
