To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if he will provide details of the levels of engagement he has had with the European Commission regarding the issue of rights, the compensation scheme, and the potential for relocation or re-designation where relocation or compensation are not an option; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this is an important issue for turf cutters here and that the Turf Cutters Association are seeking re-designation as a resolution to this issue for their members; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
