The promised legislation to provide for the exchange of criminal records and other information with EU member states and other designated states has been promised for some time. In view of the ongoing issue nationally and internationally of organised crime in particular, when is the criminal records information system Bill likely to come before the House? Have the heads of the Bill been discussed and is it likely to be introduced at an early date?
