The changed rosters after discussions within the Garda Síochána have meant a greater level of activity and greater visibility on the streets, which I welcome. The Minister for Justice and Equality is concerned, as is the Garda Commissioner, about the ongoing level of violent crime on the streets of Dublin, in particular, and every effort will be made to deal with it effectively.
