Tá áthas orm go bhfuil an Bille tríd. Tá sé 56 bliain ó inniu since the first Gaeltacht Bill was introduced. In 56 years time, I will not be here but people around me may be. When that time comes, I hope we will not be saying that the number of native speakers in the Gaeltacht has declined by 80% or 90%. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than the turning of the tide as a result of this Bill so that we see an increase of 50% or 60%.
