I agree with Deputy Martin that it should come to the House. I have read of many issues in the media before we have dealt with them in the House. I understand from what the Taoiseach said in the briefing that the constitutional convention to meet in September requires legislation to allow the electoral register to be used to select the citizens who will participate. Is it envisaged that this will be done prior to the recess?
