The Minister for Justice and Equality, Deputy Shatter, was also suitably energised by his referendum break and has been going at it with gusto in recent weeks. Reform will be an important part of the Government's work during its term in office. From the point of view of the Ministers, Deputies Hogan and Shatter, it is a good job the Government has not been as active in holding referendums as often as it promised because otherwise the two of them might have had even more extended breaks.
