Religious and Sexual Discrimination

Question 10: To ask the Minister for Education and Skills when amendments will be made to Section 37 of the Employment Equality Act, in order to remove discrimination towards gay and lesbian teachers and teachers whose beliefs may differ from those of school trustees, in view of the fact that education institutions are exempted from the provisions of the Act on the grounds of protecting their religious ethos.
