I am beginning to guess that a person would need to earn more than €425 to be removed from the system fully. One could have income of €300 from outside employment and be in receipt of a reduced one-parent family payment. We are discussing the figure above which one can earn and continue to receive some level of payment. According to the Minister, if one earns more than €425, one receives none of the payment.
